FBS (Fasting Blood Sugar) Atleast 8 hours of fasting prior to test. Can drink plain water during this period. 100-125 mg/dl >126 mg/dl
PPBS (Postprandial Blood Sugar) 140-199 mg/dl >200 mg/dl
RBS (Random Blood Sugar) 140-199 mg/dl >200 mg/dl twice (confirmed again in different day)
Glucated Hemoglobin (HbA1c) 5.7-6.4 % >6.5 %

AS PER WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION, DIAGNOSTIC CRITERIA FOR DIABETES

Fasting plasma glucose level >   126mg/dl (7mmol/L )

Or

2 Hour postprandial blood glucose level > 200mg/dl (11.1mmol/L)

Or

HbA1c > 6.5% (48mmol/L)
